Lesson from Vincent Laforet: Patience

Many photographers have influenced my work, but few like Vincent Laforet. I love his aerial photographs of New York from the first moment I saw them, and when I saw his photo of the US Open I decided I wanted to learn how to do it.

Kai from Digital Rev (who some call the Top Gear of photography) invited him for another instalment of Pro Photographer Cheap Camera. If you like photography, and haven’t seen the episodes, do yourself a favour and do it now.

What we learn from him? Lots, but one important lesson is that you need patience. Patience to simply wait, and wait and wait for that decisive moment (and to know when you should wait).
